Hi I have the most upto date Adobe but it will not open when I need to copy or read a document. I run Vista Home Premium, my provider is Tiscali & I am protected by Norton Internet 2011. Help would be appreciated. Thank you Keith

Grt rid of it and load PDF XChange Viewer
or Foxit reader, click here
both are much lighter on their feet and take less room and resources.

Agree with rawprawn. Never returned to Adobe once I started using Foxit a few years ago. G

On top of which Adobe software continually needs updating from a security view unlike the software you mention

If you want to keep using it then try uninstalling and reinstalling. I have it on Vista with no problems although I find that this latest version is not so user friendly as the previous one. I doubt very much if your provider has any relevance in this.
