When you install Adobe reader 9 it places a 106mb folder on the desktop called "Adobe reader 9 installer"
Does anyone know what it is ? Even the Adobe forums refer to it and many say just delete it, but it must be for something. Is it safer to move it to another location and not delete it ?

Not an answer for your question, but I use foxit pdf reader from click here a fraction of the size of adobe.

You can delete the folder. It's what is used to do the installation, not part of the installed software.
