Adobe Reader 10

I have downloaded Reader 10 onto a Vista system computer, apparently successfully and it put an icon on my desktop. When it failed to open a pdf file I tried to repeat the download but got the message 'already installed'. There is no reader icon in the control panel so I cannot uninstall it. How do I get round this problem?

Try this click here

Try the free version, not the 30 day trial of the pro version.

Right click on the icon then open file location

In Vista select control panel. Make sure "classic view" is enabled at the left and then go to "programs and features"

Is it there ?

I use Reader X myself on Vista 32 bit.
