Adobe or Foxit reader

  iqs 11:43 28 Dec 08

After reinstalling my OS I realized that I did not install Adobe Reader.

I was just about to download the app, when I read some reviews,a few praising the latest version 9,but the majority had nothing bad experiences.

Do you use the latest version of Adobe or do you use Foxit, which one is should I use ?

I prefer PDF Xchange Viewer! click here[69]=download

Excellent for collaboration, Post It style notes, Highlighting, underlining, Rubber Stamps and even adding text using the typewriter tool. Check it out.

I have the pro version of PDF Xchange Viewer, would thoroughly recommend it. Ditched Adobe ages ago, never looked back really.

Download use and enjoy!

PDF Xchange here too.
I am led to believe that the price you pay for Foxit being free (if that is not a complete contradiction in terms)is that it leaves a watermark on everything.

Also you can now get rid of the advertisement again.

Just uncheck from view and close down FoxitReader. Repeat 2 to 3 times and advertisement icon will no longer appear in toolbar.

>>Just uncheck from view and close down FoxitReader. Repeat 2 to 3 times and advertisement icon will no longer appear in toolbar.<<

I've tried ...12 times.
4 times closing the file and exiting Foxit,
4 times opening and closing Foxit,
4 times just slamming it shut with the "red X".

...still have the dratted box!

Is it really possible to banish it??

Right click on the icon toolbar and remove tick from 'Advertisement'.

Yes I am Spartacus - but it's back the next time you open Foxit
