Adobe Flash Player not working

For whatever reason Adobe Flash Player has ceased to operate. I have update the player and gone through all the agree and install stuff and restarted the machine. Despite this when I start You Tube I get that Java Script is turned off which I have checked and there seems to be no option to turn this on or off in "Java" in Control Panel. I'm using Vista on a Dell M1530.

Maybe you have it turned off in Spywareblaster.Spybot.or Winpatrol.

Im using Google and IE8 and have Macfee installed with Spyware. Could it be Windows Defender which is also playing up?

you could try uninstalling flash player with the adobe uninstaller, reboot and then try installing again.

In IE8 click on tools - internet options - security tab, custom tab and scroll down to Binary and Script behaviour and dot the radio button for enable or click the 'reset all zones to default level'.
