I’m running Windows 7 with 64bits, when trying to use Google maps I told “To use Street view I need Adobe Flash Player. I have Adobe Flash Player 10 & 10 plug-in installed, so why will Flash Player not work?

could be that 64bit is not supported yet by adobe flash

Not supported yet.
Not sure if this makes any sense.

Yes, there's still no 32-bit version of Flash (which is a disgrace tbh). You'll have 2 versions of Internet Explorer - a 64-bit and 32-bit version. You need to run the 32-bit version of IE even though you have 64-bit Windows 7. Install flash using that version of IE and it ought to work.

Sometimes Flash gets itself confused. Run the Flash uninstaller, then reinstall it again. That often sorts it out.

I'm sure you meant no 64bit version?

Of course you're right ;)
