Adobe acrobat pro text box font editing problem

Hello Forum,

I am trying to insert a text box into a PDF document in Adobe Acrobat Pro 7.0.

I can insert the text box ok. I am just having problems altering the text in the box.

I am trying to change the font size and font type in the text box, but when I right click the text box and choose the preferences selection the only editiing options I get are for "appearance", "general" and "review history".

There is no option available to change anything to do with the text in the text box.

I know I am probably doing something wrong, so does anybody have any ideas?

Thanks :-)

Save file as "Word" document. Alter as much as you like then convert back to PDF.

Excellent.

I didn't know that was even possible.

You have saved me sooooo many hours of torturous pdf editing!

Thank you very much :-)
