Have you tried a repair? Run the Adobe Reader setup program, and choose the repair option.

Or try removing it from the Add/Remove programs list, then reinstalling.

Have you tried to "Detect and Repair"?

This can be found in the Help files.

Adobe Acrobat is now called Adobe Reader.

The full version that can write and edit PDF files is called Adobe Acrobat.

Just go to the Adobe site & download the version 7 as if you didn't have it on your system. It's quite a big download so hope you have BB. It may invite you to download another small programme to facilitate. Download it to your desk top and I see no reason why it won't install. This will override any problems you have with earlier problems. Brambles
