Administrator Windows 7?

Unable to delete a folder in Win7 HP 64 bit.
Has a little padlock in the corner and whenever I try to delete it it tells me I need administrator privilege. If I check permissions for the advised route "Full Control" is ticked!
Can anyone help please?

If it has a padlock beside it , it might be one of Windows7 reg. entries. What folder are you deleting the file from. Is there 2 or more users using the computer. Do you they have a password.

Only me using the computer, no password. Account says "administrator". Managed to delete file by turning off UAC.
