Administrator account disabled, how do i change?

Hello! I'm running Windows 7 and when trying to log onto the administrator account it comes up with the message 'Your account has been disabled. Please see your system administrator.' I was wondering if anyone knew how to change this? I have already tried going on administrative tools to untick 'disable administrator account' but when I try to apply this it says access denied. I have also tried net user administrator /active yes, but it won't run as the administrator and says System error 5 has occured, access is denied. What can i do?!

Nope none of those solutions work as you at some point it denies you access for not having administrator privileges. Anyone know of any other ways to do this or why it might not be working?

You need to boot to safe mode from a Windows 7 DVD or repair disk

Select the default language, then choose "Repair your computer". Then select "Command Prompt". At the command prompt type:

net user administrator /active:yes [enter]

Remove the DVD, reboot the computer, and log into the built-in Administrator account.
