It all works very well but the Address book does not open when I try to send e-mails.
it is there as contacts but there is nothing when I try adess book button when sending e-mails?
What have I done wrong?

Brian are you using Outlook or Outlook Express? I use Outlook and my Address list come up in either Outlook Today or in a new email window, by clicking on the icon (slightly different features). I also have OE6 and when I click on the address book icon I just get a page with a tree listing in the lefthand pane and nothing in the right. Somebody may know better but if the details are in your Outlook Contacts section they don't appear to be available in OE. Perhaps someone can enlighten you further.
