Add/Remove section of Control Panel

I have Win98SE,IE6 and OE6.In the section Add/Remove of the Control Panel I don`t have listed Internet Explorer 6 and Service Pack 1 which used to be there,so I can`t do the `Repair` job on IE6.OE6 is also missing. Is there any way of putting both into the Add/Remove list?

IE should be listed as Microsoft Internet Explorer.

OE is not listed as it is installed as a component of IE. Repairing IE repairs OE as well.

Start > Run > Copy and Paste:

rundll32 setupwbv.dll,IE6Maintenance "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\Setup\SETUP.EXE" /g "C:\WINDOWS\IE Uninstall Log.Txt"

Click ok.

Do you have a Cover disk, install IE etc from there, it's easier

Edit sysoc.inf to remove the word "hide" from whatever you want, and it will appear in the Add/Remove list. Save a renamed backup first of course.
