I run WindowsXP pro.and i have been trying to uninstall AVG trial program and replace it with the free version. As soon as I click on uninstall i get this message:
C:\windows\system32\autoexec.NT. The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose 'close' to terminate the application.

I also get the same message when i try to install the free version of AVG.
Can someone please advise me.

Daft question out of the way first: Can you not install the free version in a different folder and run it from there?

This software is good for removing unwanted stuff. May be worth a try. Regcleaner click here

Cheers Kev.
