Add/remove in control panel

How do I remove a redundent program title in add/remove - control panel please. I've done the usual but it won't go. It's my own fault, I uninstalled it incorrectly.

The program title is Norton Utilities 2003 for Windows.

It's been listed for ages and does'nt cause any issues. But as I no longer have the program installed I don't want it listed any more.

Any ideas anyone!

i've solved the problem a couple of times by reinstalling then removing via add/remove which worked ok

I use RegCleaner click here for these kinds of problems. On the Uninstall Menu tab, put a tick in the box next to 'Norton Utilities 2003 for Windows' & click on 'Remove Selected'. G

Use click here But make sure that there are no Norton products running before you use it,If you have Any other Norton programs on your computer,it may not be wise to run this tool as it will delete those as well.

Thanks for that. It worked a treat.
