With help from forum users I have now successfully loaded Linux Ubuntu on to my second computer.

I know wish to load the software for the wireless USB Adapter to allow the system with Ubuntu to get Wi-fi internet access.

When I try to load the software for the adapter Ubuntu gives a message saying 'np application suitable for automatic installation is available'.

When the system had MS Windows on it, I did not have this problem.

How do I overcome this problem?

Thanks

You will not be able to load the software as its written for windows.

I cant help on Ubuntu as i never really got on with that distro.

However PCLinuxOS 2007 is by far easier to use/configure.
I had a few problems trying the wireless adaptor but Los found this and installed a driver and works fine now.
Some info that may help click here

Im sure some of the real Linux experts will pop in,just be paitent for now.
