I'm trying to add Fax Services in Windows Components but I get the error 'Setup cannot copy the file fxsext32.dll' even though the file is in the location it says it cannot copy from. (there are a whole series of fx.... files in the ServicePackFiles directory but none of them can be found. I've tried copying the files to other media (HD, memory stick etc.) and loading from there but I always get the same problem. Anyone any ideas please ? Thomas Rowe

Are you doing this through Add/Remove programmes in Control Panel? Then select Add/Remove Windows components. You will need an XP CD to copy the files from.

Of course, you will also need to have an analogue modem installed in your computer.

tsrowe clearly states he is trying to add the Fax Console from Windows Components.

Rather than the XP disk, have you tried stating the target as:

C:\windows\i386\

to find the required files?
