Hmmm, that is strange - it works if u divide 1 amount by 2, and if u add 2 amount together, but not if u perform both functions.... ????

This seems to work though:

Select the cells you want to sum, right click them, select Format Cells and select Percentage.

To sum the cells either use the Autosum button on the toolbar or use =SUM(A1:E1), for example, to sum cells A1 through E1.

Ok this is the what i have =(100+2.16+4.775+2.76)*K3%+4.775+2.16+2.76 any advice on it

You want to multply (100+2.16+4.775+2.76) by a percentage in K3 and then add 4.775+2.16+2.76 to the result?

If that's what you want to do then format cell K3 as a percentage.

For example, I've entered =(100+10+5)*K3 in cell A5 and the value in K3 is 10.00%.

Cell A5 displays 11.5- the right answer.
