Adding an additioal HD to a WinXP computer

I have no problem *!@:ing in a new hard drive I've done it many times. But XP terrifies me! I hate it! I'm afraid that as soon as I put in the new drive it will insist that I call MS big brother.
If I am forced to do this how do I call them?

Put it in.

MS will not bother you.

No you will not have to phone them, XP can take it.

But if you do don't worry all you've done is added a hard drive and not swapped the drive for another computer.

When you install the disk click Start, Run, Type:

Click OK.

Then right click "Disk 1" and click "initialize". Then right click the black line to the right and choose "New Partition" then follow the wizard.
