just added a 2nd hard disk to my already existing 10gb to give me a total of 18b. problem is that the 2nd 9 gb ame from an old pc which still has all it old data on t including win98 & has been partitioned into a 4.11gb & a 3.89 gbbut i cant format it & get it into one 8gb hard disk again by right clicking on drive letter. any suggestions????????

Fdisk Utility....

Or

Partition magic so that you can jopin the partitions together thus create 1 whole drive instead of 2 smaller one's!

Is your original hard drive, the 10gb one, using XP as it's O/S?

Some notes on using FDISK. Mainly for Windows 95 but it may give you some ideas.click here
