My HDD is partitioned into four parts. One part is never in use and I would like to add it to my one fourth part. Is that possible? How please?

Try Powerquest Partition Magic.

Any good partition manager (I swear by Partition Magic; there are some freebies around, but I don't know how good they are) will allow you to delete you unused partition and expand the next one to use up the space).

thanks. I will try.

I had a look at Partition Magic. Prefer somethink free. Tried via Google but the free ones seem doubtful, so I will forget the idea of joining two part together for now, Maybe next year......Thanks.

I was going to suggest Ranish (a free disk manager)

But if you follow jimv7 link and scroll down a bit there it is. Download it and give it a try.
