add-ons disabled

Yesterday I downloaded google chrome, I removed it today as I didn't like it. I accidently removed google toolbar as well. Now when I go to internet explorer it says add-ons disabled, to enable them close internet explorer then open again. It doesn't matter how many times I close then re-open it it still tells me add-ons disabled. Can anyone please tell me how to enable them? Also when I go into tools to show google toolbar, all the tool bars are greyed out so I can't get google to show. Please help.
