Adaware and Spybot

On the advice of a computer literate friend I installed Adaware some time ago. The same friend now says Spybot is a lot better and suggests that I install it, first removing Adaware.

I'm sure that I have seen threads on both, but an entry of Spybot in the PC Advisor Search says nothing was found! I find this hard to believe - what am I doing wrong when using search and is my friend correct?

adawre and spybot run quite happily together and as long as you check for updates regulary , you shoulndn,t have a problem

Use them both.

AdAware sometimes finds malware which Spybot doesn't and vice versa.

Oh, and whilst you're at it install SpywareBlaster as well.

Agree with above comments. Install AdAware,SpyBot and SpywareBlaster. A very good threesome combination/
