Hi, I've just run adaware and it's showing the following items which I can't remember seeing on previous scans. Can I safely get rid of these please?

Quarantine them in the first instance.

If after a reasonable time there is nothing untoward found with your PC, delete them.

Tnx Curio, have done as you suggest. we'll see what happens. Yaesu

Whats the difference between quarantining and deleting?

  CurlyWhirly 20:40 22 Jul 04

Consultik

I run Ad-aware as well and the difference between quarantine and delete is that with quarantine you can bring back the cookies, etc if you find that deleting them causes problems.
In my expereience I have NOT found one instance of deleting entries which cause problems later on.
I now just delete everything but having said this since installing Spyware Blaster I rarely find one or two entries a week now where as I used to find in the region of 30 or 40 entries a week before!
