Ad-hoc wired Network to wireless network

  roy 16:41 25 Jun 04

I am about to instal a wireless adsl modem router (Netgear DG834G) to replace the ad hoc twisted cable network I have used successfully for at least the past year. As I want to use the same NIC card in my first pc (Win xp) what do I do about the old network? Do I have to disconnect (in software) the NIC first? Do I remove the old network completely? Also what do I do in Network connections about my present internet connection (Freeserve Broadband).
