Good morning and thank you.

Starnge thing just happened, updated adaware, went to run it, then got mesage from NT something or other to say close all programs computer will close down in xxx secs and countdown started.

This has happened on all subsequent occasions of running adaware SE - three times now, so have resorted to xoftspy now.

Whish reported 56 threats - most minimal threats, but strangely even when clicking remove, on rebooot, no internet connection. Had to system restore and what do you know all spyware back of course.

Have tried again with xoftspy, and have deleted small amount of threats each time, rebooted and its working.

Now only got to get rid of webenhancer.

Thanks VoG

But as usual NTL is the culprit.

Ad-aware sees the update, downloads it and the defs file DOES NOT change stays on SE1R34 23 March.

Its great that others keep an eye out for these updates, most of us (like me) are too lazy!
Or of course just forget ;)
