Activity log files on desktop. Can I delete them?

Hi all,
Is there a log file that contains all the activity that has occurred on my desktop pc that I can access and delete the info that I do not want anyone else to see. (For example) software that I have loaded and then uninstalled. I work off site for my company and they wish to have my pc back, there was nothing illegal installed only programs like Ad-Ware se personal/spywareGuard /Swshredder/Spybot search & destroy but the less my IT dept know wont hurt them.
Also I was wondering if anyone is experienced on Nortel’s Contivity VPN Client, which logs me into the company’s local network, I only use this to check my mail through my MS outlook & synchronize it. Now the Q, is there a potential for my system to send a virus to my company’s network and cause major problems?

My O/S is 2000 Pro, and I have full admin rights on pc.

Thanks for your time…

You can delete all activity log files with no problem, create a system restore point first to be on the safe side.
