Activating windows XP

Hi there,
I have just bought a Evesham PC with a 200GB SATA hard drive, can you tell me if I put another hard drive in, will I have to re-activate it?
I would be grateful of your help.

If it goes in as a slave to the current disk, I don't think so - it is not a major change to the machine.

I have done what you are proposing to do, and I did not have to re-activate.

I had to replace a faulty hard drive and because I had to reload XP, I had to reactivate, but there was not a problem and it was instantaneous. If it is an extra hard drive, as mentioned above, there should be no need to do it. I did that a while ago, also.
