activate dma

I have xp and wish to check if dma activated.
However when i double click ide ata/atapi there is no advanced settings tab.
can anyone help?

Right click on your "My Computer" Icon and left click on "Device manager" Scroll down to "IDE ATA/ATAPI Controls and left click on the + sign.

Right click on the "Secondary IDE channel, choose properties/advanced tab. Look to the window, "Transfer mode" and select "Use DMA if available". j.

Start,Control panel,system,hardware,Device manager,select required ide right click.properties advance tab should be there.Regards

as before takes me to same ide properties where only tabs are general, driver and resources. There is no advanced tab
