Can anyone advise which version of Acronis TI I should buy and where to get it from at a good price?

The previous offer from Acronis to upgrade from a free Version 7 has expired apparently.

v10 has a validation facility which checks that your saved image is not corrupted in any way.
Do not know if this is available on the earlier versions.
Might be worth checking.

It does look as if Version 10 is the one to go for. Thanks.

The verification is available in 8 & 9; hence most probably 10 as well.

I have this purchased from Amazon and find it very good,BUT I found that it cannot transfer direct to a Vista programme from an XP one.
