Acronis back up question

As posted in one of my previous threads, I have had to re-format and re-install a neighbour's pc. I used my Acronis discs to make an image copy of her documents and programs folders.

When I try to access the backup disc, I cannot get past the drive letter in the tree to tell it which files to access, and the Cd drive is continuosly whirring away trying to read the disc.

The back up was made when she was using an unregistered version of XP Prof, we now have a fully legal version of XP Home Edition. Could that be part of the problem perhaps?

As usual with you kind folks, any help or comments will be greatly appreciated.

Try going backwards and forewards with Back and Next until the tree appears usually about six or seven goes, with mine anyway. but then I have just got over a web browser hijack, I hope, and all of my backups have to go! Oh! it might be that you should not use your acronis on someone elses machine or to back others programmes!!!
