When opening a *.pdf file in I.E 6 I get the message cannot locate external handler for the file. alhtough I have Acrobat Reader installed ( Ver 5) do I have to somehow associate Acrobat to I.E 6 so that it opens automatically? Would much appreciate any help.
Thanks in advance.

I was having problems with IE6 and Adobe Reader 6 (couldn't open a document) until I put a shortcut to AR6 in the Task Tray; and now no problems.

Hi Guys thanks for the advice and support.
Have sorted the problem by looking on Adobe site

"Configuring the Browser to Open PDF Files in an Acrobat Window"

Now it opens in a seperate window, I am happy because I dont have to download 9.9mb on 56k!!

I realise about the huge size of the reader, I should have realised also about not everyone not being on BB. Even so, I would strongly recommend the latest version as there are a number of improvements on previous ones.

Version 6 is sure to be on a cover disk soon, if not already.
