Has anyone used Acoustica MP3 CD Burner 3.0 ? Do you have any advice, comments? I am looking for a good reilable product that allows me to :

Extract CD tracks to MP3
Burn to Cd (not DVD at this time as I do not have one).
Be able to specify gap between tracks
Normalise sound levels

These are my minimum requirements.

Have used Nero and Easy CD Creator and am not ipressed.

I recently tried Acoustica on a friend's PC and compared to a decent burner like Nero, I found it cumbersome, slow and amateurish.

If you don't like Nero then frankly you're going to be casting around amongst second and third-raters.

Hmmm, so you'd rate Nemo - is my conclusion from your comments.

Er I mean Nero!!! Was thinking of the film at the time......ho hum.

Er,yes. I don't use Nero6 for ripping or file conversion - I far prefer dbPower for those operations. Editing I use Soundforge though the Nero Wave Editor is fine for the less fussy. The business of burning is down to Nero - great control and rock-solid dependability. Last Thursday afternoon I burnt 35 CDs in under 1½ hours, just like shelling peas.
