Help pleae, Win 7 32 bit.
To cure a problem I followed a fix on the net which cures the fault but leaves a further question.
The cure was to open a new user account which is fine, I then copied/pasted folders & files from the old user name in C:\ explorer to the new one.
But how do I get my desltop to look the same as user 1 with all my installed programs etc on it?
Presently with the new account holder selected I have a big windows logo on the desktop and just a few icons have appeared such as the Norton one.
(Switching user the old account still appears as it was)

As a good starting point - Go to your old username and copy the entire contents of the "Desktop" folder to your new username.
