Hi folks,I've stupidly accidently deleted the "everyone" account on my computer.I am the only user but when I boot it boots as normal but hangs at the windows xp screen with no box to enter my password.Does anyone know how I can get my computer back?I've tried safe mode to no avail.Thanks.

To run a System Restore at boot up for WinXP, do the following:

1. Start your computer then repeating press "F8" key until the Boot Menu appeared then select option "Safe Mode with Command Prompt" or similar

2. At the command prompt, type %systemroot%\system32\restore\rstrui.exe, and press ENTER

3. Follow instructions to restore to a previous, functional state

Tap f8 as you start the computer, choose 'safe mode' then try system restore.
