Accessories folder

The accessories folder has gone missing from the start menu in windows 7. Can anyone help to get it back?

The accessories folder is still there in the program data folder. The properties boxes are 'blued out' for this and the next folders up all the way to the start menu. Marking these read only does not restore the accessories to the start menu. Any changes are undone on rebooting the computer. I must have altered something in the properties but I don't know what.

This is one of those problems where you need the PC in front of you.

Thanks everyone. System restore has worked. I did not want to do this initially as there was another problem which turned out to be easier to fix.
