Accessing Program Data Folders in XP

In my version of XP, if you go into Explorer, you can see Program Files (ie the software) but not the data files which are in the Program Data folder. How can I access this folder to move data in and out of specific data files?

The Application Data folders are hidden by default.

From Windows Explorer, click on Tools, Folder Options, View, and check the radio box that says "Show hidden files and folders."
