Morning,

I've recently purchased a WD Mycloud to store all my music/films/pics on and it works great Now i want to reinstall windows on my pc with the reinstall disks i gort when i got the PC as its really slow and needs doing. however. Someone has told my that if I do this i may not be able to access the WD drive once I have done this. I'm pretty clueless on what to do. I dont want to go ahead and reinstall windows if I'm gonna lose everything pc is running on Vista Can anyone advise?

Should just be a matter of plug in and run the software disk / file same as when you first bought the MyCloud

Just remember to make a note of all log in and password details before resetting the PC.

Also I would use the same username as you reset the Vista PC to avoid ownership of file issues when you reconnect the WD Mycloud
