Accessing links

I have found since yesterday that I am unable to access certain pages by clicking on a link. For example I recently received an email from a friend suggesting several sites he thought might interest me and giving me links to them - but when I clicked on the link - nothing.
Can anyone help?

If this is just in Outlook Expressclick here;en-us;257464

If it is in Internet Explorer:

1. Quit all programs that are running.

2. Click Start, and then click Run.

3. Type

regsvr32 urlmon.dll

and then click OK.

4. When you receive the "DllRegisterServer in urlmon.dll succeeded" message, click OK.

If this does not resolve the problem, repeat steps 2 through 4 for each of the following files (in step 3, replace Urlmon.dll with each of the file names below):

Shdocvw.dll

Msjava.dll

Actxprxy.dll

Oleaut32.dll

Mshtml.dll

Browseui.dll

Shell32.dll

First link should be click here

I'll get the hang of this eventually.

I tried VoG™'s suggestion. When I typed regsvr32 urlmon.dll I got a message saying Load Library ("urimon.dll") failed. Get Last Error returns 0x00000485. The others all succeeded, but the problem remains.

"urimon.dll"

it should be urLmon.dll
