Accessing http://192.168.1.1/

When trying to access the above, it says 'Protected Object'. Can anyone out there help me to access this page as I think I have a problem with it.

Switch everything off, push the reset button at the back of the router with a pin, switch on router, wait a minute or so, switch on PC.

Thanks - I have now accessed the 192.168.1.1 site and I have one more query. Can anyone tell me what this means:

ADSL state - Show Time (in red letters)

I am using a laptop but can only access internet through wireless network connection and I think the above could be the problem.

Any help would be much appreciated

It means your modem has connected successfully. Old or incorrect settings in your cable network connection are more likely to be the issue.
