Access97 on Windows XP - License issue

  Volvo 19:08 27 Apr 04

I have loaded Office Professional 97 onto a new Windows XP laptop. Word, Excel etc all work fine but Access keeps telling me that it is an unlicensed version (which it is not) and will not load. This used to be an occasional problem on Windows 98 and the trick was to rename Tahoma.ttf font then perform a re-install of Office Pro, then name Tahoma back again, and the problem was solved. However, I cannot successfully rename Tahoma on Windows XP so appear not to be able to use this trick. Any suggestions please.
