Access violation

I have recently been getting an Access violation message. The full message reads "Access violation at address 0054F3FC in module RTHDCPL.EXE Read of address 00BBD03. The heading on the dialog box is Realtek HD Audio Manager. It hasn't seemed to cause any problem, but I would like to resolve it. I have run my virus checker, spyware checker and registry cleaner. Any ideas?

From what I can gather,a Microsoft update has probably caused this error to occur.
The Realtek HD Audio Control panel can just be uninstalled, which should stop the error message,
or if you like its features, first try updating your Realtek drivers.
