Access Problems With XP Pro

Unable to access a piece of back office software held on a server via a LAN when logged in under a certain user.
I think it must be access rights as I can access the software logged in as a different user, but I am unsure what needs to be changed.

You may need to have an 'Account' set up in the PC that is hosting the software, which has an identical Username/Password to that in the client PC from which you are trying to access.

Alternatively, in the client PC, use the option to "Map Network Drive" which also lets you "Connect using a different user name", so that you can use a login that matches an account in the host.
