Access database help with forms

I have a complex access database.

Everything works, but basically there is a small section that will add multiple products and total the price.

The products will be from a database.

Basically we need a pop-up or an add button with a pop-up search box and list of products to add. When multiple products are added the products field extends.

Anyway to do this?

Sounds as if you need a sub form but really need more information.
Is one person or body ordering multiple products and then you want to add the cost of the whole purchase?
Are your products in a separate table?
Which version of Access?

Latest version of access.

Yes the products will be saved in table: products

Orders in orders

and basically an invoice/order will be created in a form, but I need a way of adding multiple products and adding the total.

As noted, it will need to be easy to find products too without remembering IDs or codes.

When you state latest do you mean Access 2003 or 2007?

2007 ;-)

Would you like the database sent to you?

You can simply drop me an e-mail by clicking the envelope.

A good, and cheat's way of seeing how to do this is to look at the sample database given as part of Access call Northwind.mdb.

That shows a multiple item order method.

I don't have anything later than Access 2000 at home. Suggest you follow Chris the Ancient's advice.

Never thought of that... I'll have a look
