I have set up a database and form saving an old database and form. It has worked but the automatic numbering for each of the forms will not zero. Any ideas, as I can't understand the help responses.

There is another way... It's called an Append Query.. Its a bit complicted but this explains it fairly well..

If you have questions about it then ask again and I'll do my best. I have used it a few times for work databases and it does work.

Good luck

Sorry it missed a bit out... Set it to the maxium value.. and run the Append Query.. then set it to the minium value and run it again.. the finally set it to one before the figure you want and run it a final time. The next record you enter will be the required start number. You can delete the records that were created.
