I use an MS Access 2003 database which is sited on a server some miles away from my office and wonder if it possible to automate the database. The dbase consists of a names and dates indicating when they have to have completed something.
is it possible to set things up so that that access notifies me that these people have to complete the designated updates.
eg say 40 names need to update in October, access tells me the names i need in advance. I know a queery will do this but I would like to do this automatically so that I don't forget myself, something like a desktop alert.
Any suggestions most welcome
