About my "Sony 17-in-1 Multicard reader/writter" ?

Hola experts !

I have this great Sony Multicard reader/writter, which offers the software to see the "Memory card slots icons" instead of just the letters.

I already installed that software and whenever I browse my hard disks through let us say "Picture Project" or through "nVidia Control Panel", then I can see clearly the "Memory card slots Icons" perfectly well.

But whenever I go to "My computer" or "Control panel" from the "Start Menu" I just see the letters, just like if my PC does not recognize the "Drive letter recognition software". Why is it ? how can I see the Memory Card Slot Icons in "My computer" or in my "Control panel" ?

I have Windows XP Professional (pack 3) and a multimonitor system with two nVidia graphic cards and four 21" CRT monitors.

Thanks in advance for your help, best,

Antonio.
