Help!! I am running 1 PC connected to cable broadband via a Buffalo WYR G54 Airstation, 2nd PC is connected wirelessly, laptop is also wireless. All machines run Win XP home with SP2 and are set up to a home network group. I can access the internet and file sharing with no problems. I cannot get the laptop to access the printer remotely, even though it is showing as shared. I have installed the printer drivers to the laptop and set the Windows firewall to allow printer sharing. I followed these instructions (but still nothing)
ON LAPTOP OR OTHER REMOTE MACHINE
1 install printer drivers and print monitor
2 From Desktop double click My Network Places
3 folow link to View Workgroup computers
4 Double click my laptop or icon for remote machine
5 Double click on printers and fax folder
6 Follow link To add printer
7 Add printer wizard opens, ignore message, click next
8 Click radio button for A network printer attached to another computer
9 Click next
10 Click radio button for Browse for a printer
11 Click next
12 Double click on icon for "BBCC123" or main computer
13 This opens a menu under the icon, double click on Epson C80 or the share name of your main printer
14 click yes
PLEASE HELP AS I'M ABOUT TO THROW EITHER THE LAPTOP OR THE PRINTER UP THE GARDEN!!

and select File and then Print, are you saying that the network printer isn't visible in the list of available printers?
