So I screwed up saving an important text file. Thought I`d saved it, but no sign of it. And I emptied the recycle bin.
The original was on a slave drive which I haven`t saved anything to since, so it hasn`t been overwritten.
Is there any way I can undelete it?

(Win XP pro AMD 1 Ghz.
Tho the slave is from an old pc which was running win 95 and the file was saved under that)

Try Drive Rescue click here

Run it from a different drive - e.g. a floppy.

One of these should be able to dig it out.

click here has a 25 use trial version - I think it allows you to recover the data, at least it has when I've used older trial versions.

Have saved info on all of them - then started at the top of the list - was initially concerned about the `run from different drive` for drive rescue then reaslised as i had the lost file on a slave drive i could do it. And bingo there it was. But some interesting progs there
