Hi, i am in the process of building a PC for a friend, i am looking at the ASUS A7V8X-MX Motherboard as a all in one base.

Has anyone had any problems with this board or should i go ahead and buy it?, The price is right and it seems to offer upgradeability.

any advice would be welcome

be better. Depends on the options/spec you need from the board.

Its a good basic board only 333fsb so limited upgradeability, Nforce 2 would be better.

thanks for the reply's, all seem positive.
i think i will go ahead and buy.

EyeSpy, i will be putting a 2600XP with it and 256 Kingston ram. I like the fact it has the AGP port as well as onboard, as it will only be running windows98 then i think it will perform well.

once again, thanks
