Hello,

Does anyone know of a 802.11a router and ADSL modem in one combined unit? I've only managed to find either one or 'tuther and i need the use 802.11a (5Ghz) as i have a video sender using the 2.4Ghz range which 802.11b&g use.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

This is just a router, but as far as I can gather most 802.1* devices work with their predecessors,eg:a/b/g is just indicating the advances in transfer speeds.(G being latest/fastest)so you should be able to buy a new combo(router/modem)that can still work with older (a)equipment.

Nick,

Arcadyan make what you are looking for (click here) - it is the last one on the list.

Chegs - the 802.11a (5GHz)uses a different frequency to b/g (2.4GHz). 802.11a is generally thought to be more stable at faster speeds than 802.11g - even though they are both 54Mbps.
